Demi grew up in Fontana, California, and is living in Santa Barbara for college. She is currently a senior at the University of California, Santa Barbara, working towards a BA in Sociology with an Applied Psychology minor. Demi began volunteering with PeerBuddies in her junior year at UCSB as a volunteer facilitator for Social Skills Group and continued for a year. She was extremely thankful to receive the opportunity to officially join the PeerBuddies Team in October 2022 as a Lead Facilitator. Demi is grateful to be a part of such a wonderful and passionate team of people who share the same goal of creating a more inclusive environment! In her free time, Demi enjoys cooking, reading, going on night bike rides, and spending time with her family and friends.
